Are you a legal expert with a passion for the music industry?
We are searching for a highly skilled legal professional with a deep understanding of the music industry and a keen eye for detail. Your role will be crucial in safeguarding our business interests, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. You will work closely with various departments to provide strategic legal advice and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver strategic legal counsel on a broad range of matters, including contract negotiation, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with artists, venues, promoters, and other relevant stakeholders.
Proactively manage legal risk and minimize potential liabilities.
Ensure unwavering compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including copyright, trademark, and data protection.
Navigate legal disputes and manage litigation matters effectively.
Provide insightful advice on corporate governance and risk management strategies.
Stay abreast of industry trends and legal developments to maintain a competitive edge.
Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
A qualified lawyer with significant experience in entertainment law or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of the music industry and its complex legal landscape.
Proven ability to negotiate effectively and draft watertight contracts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
